Channellock, Inc., is committed to the health and safety of its workers. We continue to implement and enforce stringent safety policies supporting guidelines from the CDC and PA Department of Health for workers of essential industries. These policies include, but aren’t limited to, enforcement of social distancing, staggering of shift changes to eliminate employee interaction, pre-shift temperature screening, engaging professional cleaning services, providing associates masks, and requiring them to wear masks at all times. We have also established protocols to identify and notify employees who may have come in contact with COVID-19 through contact tracing while maintaining confidentiality.
We continue to remain open as the company is considered part of the critical infrastructure workforce, a designation determined by the Department of Homeland Security. Hand tools are essential to the maintenance and repair of this country’s critical infrastructure, as they are used to support the operations of critical industries such as defense, food and agriculture, transportation, telecommunications, energy, water and wastewater.
We continue to urge employees not to come to work if they are sick or if they believe they have been exposed to COVID-19 – those employees should seek medical advice as soon as possible.
We want to thank our associates for their commitment to serving others, as well as other essential workers across America that are keeping our country running.
