MEADVILLE, PA., January 20, 2025 – Channellock, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-quality pliers and hand tools, is excited to announce the promotion of Hope Cicero to the position of Design Manager. Since joining the company in June 2020, Hope has made remarkable contributions that have enhanced the organization’s capabilities and product offerings.
In her new role, Hope will work closely with cross-functional teams in design, process improvement, and new product engineering to drive efficiency, innovation, and quality across the board. She will also take an active role on the Process Improvement Committee and the New Product Team, where she will spearhead innovative projects aimed at refining production processes.
“Hope has proven herself to be an invaluable member of our Engineering department at Channellock,” says Tim Parulski, Engineering Manager. “Her exceptional planning and execution skills will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our company for years to come.” A standout achievement includes her pivotal role in the successful installation of New Collaborative Robots, which has significantly reduced costs through automated loading and unloading in the company’s Mori Seiki CNC processing cells.
“I am thrilled to continue supporting our team and developing new technologies and process improvements that benefit our production efforts,” says Hope.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Hope is committed to her community. She serves on the boards of the Crawford Central Community Foundation, Junior Achievement of Western Crawford County, and the United Way of Western Crawford County, while also being an active member of the North West Industrial Resource Center’s (NWIRC) Dream Team which serves small and mid-sized manufacturers throughout 13 counties of northwest and north central Pennsylvania. “Meadville is a wonderful place to work, as it allows me to give back to our local community through various volunteer opportunities while remaining close to my family,” she shares.
